Production Planner, £33,000 Buckinghamshire

If so, I’d love to hear from you as my client is looking to recruit a Production Planner to join their manufacturing business based in Buckinghamshire.
Key Responsibilities for Production & Inventory Planner:
Build and issue production plans for a couple of manufacturing sites in the UK through SAP.
Monitor and review all orders to improve forecast accuracy.
Action all MRP outputs and work with Production as well as Warehousing to ensure accurate and timely flow of materials.
Set and monitor KPI’s, as well as report to the wider team, looking at patterns, making recommendations where appropriate and looking at root cause analysis. This is a proactive role as well as an element of reactive but forward planning is the key.
The Successful candidate for Production & Inventory Planner:
Previous experience of Planning in a manufacturing business is essential.
Experience of SAP is preferable but not essential.
Great attention to detail as well as highly competent in analysing numbers, looking at trends and making recommendations.
The ability to work well under pressure as well as a strong communicator.
Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge would be an advantage.
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 plus benefits
