If so, we’d love to hear from you as our client is looking to recruit a Buyer to join their food manufacturing business based in Oxfordshire.
Key Responsibilities for Buyer:
Procurement responsibilities include maintenance of MRP system as well as looking at demand and forecast to ensure that stocks are managed accordingly.
Work with suppliers to develop and strengthen relationships and working partnerships, monitoring SLA’s and KPI’s.
Manage 100% availability stock inventory, managing raw materials and packaging stock levels across the business.
Manage inbound logistics and all relevant UK and shipping documentation.
Publish daily, weekly and monthly reports for the business.
The Successful candidate for Buyer:
Previous experience of Purchasing and Stock Management in a food manufacturing business is essential.
You must have worked with imported goods and suppliers in the UK as well as overseas.
Highly analytical as well as commercially astute and great attention to detail.
The ability to work well under pressure as well as a strong communicator.
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 plus benefits
