Supply Chain Manager, £45,000 Central London

If so, we’d love to hear from you as our client based near Liverpool Street in London is recruiting a brand new role to their entrepreneurial business, a Supply Chain Manager! Working within a food / drink sector that is booming, you will be responsible for managing the supply chain function from a Head Office location. A number of processes have been put in place already so it will be the Supply Chain Managers responsibility to continue to shape the Supply Chain Strategy as well as review and adapt when needed, as the business grows.
The role of Supply Chain Manager:
Build and deliver a supply chain for all new products, new routes to market and International business growth.
Deliver the day to day as well long term business strategy, forecasting, working with manufacturing facilities as well as Suppliers on raw material planning.
Manage, develop and maintain all relationships with key supply chain partners.
Constantly review the Supply Chain to ensure that cost, quality and customer service is at the forefront of what you do.
The experience and knowledge of the Supply Chain Manager:
Extensive experience in Supply Chain within an FMCG environment.
Educated to Degree level or professional qualification would be ideal.
Previous experience of dealing with the retailers would be a huge advantage.
Managing a team previously would be ideal but isn’t essential.
The ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to tight time scales.
Roll your sleeves up and get involved. This is a small, entrepreneurial business and there will be times when you will be expected to help other departments or take on responsibility that doesn’t fall under remit, until processes and procedures are put in place.
