Process Development Technologist, £competitive Somerset / Devon border

 If so, we’d love to hear from you as our client based on the Somerset / Devon border is recruiting a Process Development Technologist. This is a brand new role reporting into the Process Manager who we previously placed and we can guarantee that you will learn so much, as well as your career developing at a great pace.  

The role of Process Development Technologist: 

  • You will be responsible for organising factory trials, pre launch and shelf life trials.

  • It will be your responsibility to organise factory samples.

  • Responsible for the development management system.

  • Document control needs to be completed in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Working in a CI environment, you will work cross functionally so communication is key.

The experience and knowledge of the Process Development Technologist:

  • A food related degree or relevant experience in a food manufacturing environment.

  • You will need to demonstrate your experience of working with multi-component products that are supplied to the major supermarkets.

  • The ability to work calmly under pressure but also to be adaptable and flexible.

  • Great project management and the ability to set critical paths & manage them.

  • A valid UK driving licence and willing to drive own car / company car if required to do so by the business.
