If so, we’d love to hear from you as our client based on the Somerset / Devon border is recruiting a Concept Technologist. This is a brand new role which will help drive innovation within the Product Development Team and you will play a vital part in driving the growth of the business.
The role of NPD Technologist:
To work as a support function for the NPD Team to deliver new concepts.
To fully understand costings of recipes as well being able to make up a number of kitchen samples.
Work with customers and build relationships as this is key to growing the business.
Assist with the handover to the Process Team.
Ensure record keeping is accurate and always up to date.
The experience and knowledge of the NPD Technologist:
A degree or HND in a food related subject is preferred but not essential.
Experience in food manufacturing, ideally chilled food is needed. You need to be able to demonstrate that you have worked on recipe development previously.
Good Maths and English, written and verbal.
The ability to work calmly under pressure but also to be adaptable and flexible.
A valid UK driving licence and willing to drive own car / company car if required to do so by the business.
