NPD & Specifications Technologist, £27,000 based in the West Midlands

If so, we’d love to hear from you as our client is looking to a recruit an NPD & Specifications Technologist to join their food manufacturing business based in the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities for NPD & Specifications Technologist: 

  • Work through the NPD process in the business, assuring hazard analysis, support factory trials and ensure all analysis is completed & documented accurately.

  • Manage specifications ensuring customer needs are met.

  • Play a central role in the Technical function providing administration and information to various departments.

  • To personally ensure that all aspects of Due Diligence (Food Safety, Quality and Legislation) are adhered to.

Key Requirements for NPD & Specifications Technologist:

  • You must have experience of working in a fast paced food manufacturing business.

  • Experience in retailer specification systems would be preferred.

  • A good sound knowledge of food information regulations as well as BRC.

  • Excellent organisation skills, a great eye for detail and good with administration.

  • Bubbly, outgoing and wanting to work as part of a team.

  • Must be able to drive and your own transport as the location is remote.

Salary: £27,000
